Polzin, Ralland R.

Ralland R. Polzin, age 76 of Clintonville entered heaven Thursday evening, November 5, 2015 at Theda Clark Medical Center in Neenah surrounded by his family.

Ralland Robert Polzin was born January 31, 1939 in the Town of Bear Creek, Waupaca County as the son of the late Elmer and Elsie (Gauerke) Polzin. He graduated from Clintonville High School in 1957. Ralland was united in marriage to the love of his life, Pat Conlon on August 10, 1957 at Christus Lutheran Church in Clintonville. Ralland worked in the agribusiness industry and retired from the Furst-McNess Company in 2004. Ralland believed in Jesus for his salvation and was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in the Town of Bear Creek. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, and loved to spend time with his family.

Survivors include: his wife, Pat; sons: Robert (Rebecca) Polzin, Clintonville; Joseph (Natalie) Polzin, Marion, IA and James (Molle) Polzin, Sun Prairie; daughters, Susan (Bruce) Bishop, Wrightstown and Sandra (Randy) Schertz, Parma, ID; 12 grandchildren: Andrew, Adam, Michael, Cassie and Luke Polzin; Jackie (Aaron) Hager, Ashley, Katie and Tim Polzin; Brad (Kerri) Bishop; Ben and Ryan Polzin; great-grandchildren: Sophia Giunta, Keiley and Kelsey Bishop; sisters: Virginia Latza, Jean Kortbein and Marlene (Harvey) Miller; in-laws: Lillian (Ken) Konrad, Barbara Konopacky, Evelyn Wolff, Alyce (Gary) Ritchie, Margo Conlon, Shirley (Jess) Conlon-Brunell, Edward (Jeanne) Conlon, Maureen (David) Freeborg, and numerous nieces and nephews. Ralland was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Dorothy (Ervin) Riemer, brothers-in-law, Frank Latza, Marvin Kortbein, Michael Conlon and John Konopacky.

Memorial services will be held Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at 11 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in the Township of Bear Creek with Rev. Michael Stock officiating. Friends may call at the Eberhardt-Stevenson Funeral Home & Crematory in Clintonville from 4-7 p.m. Monday and at the church on Tuesday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Ralland’s family would like to thank the nurses and staff at Shawano Medical Center, Appleton Medical Center, and Theda Clark Medical Center for their excellent care and compassion during Ralland’s hospitalization.
