Christmas parade in Clintonville

Chamber sponsoring hidden medallion contestA Storybook Christmas Parade will be held in downtown Clintonville at 6 p.m. Monday, Nov. 30.

Lineup for the parade will be on a first-come, first-served basis and will begin at 5:30 p.m. in the parking area adjacent 11th Street.

When the parade starts it will proceed south to Fifth Street.

Judging for each entry will be based on how well the theme “Storybook Christmas” is depicted in two separate categories — business and non-profit. The winner in each category will receive $25 in Chamber Bucks.

The parade is sponsored by the Clintonville Area Chamber of Commerce. Call 715-823-4606 to register an entry or for more details.

Following the parade, Tadych’s Econofoods is sponsoring a visit with Santa at Fox Valley Technical College. Children can have their photo taken with Santa for a nominal fee. Cookies and beverages will be served. Kids will receive a goodie bag.

Hidden medallion
A hidden Christmas Medallion contest will also be held, starting Dec. 1. Only one medallion will be placed within Clintonville city limits. It will be placed in an outdoor location.

One clue will be given each week for four weeks, beginning Dec. 1. Clues will be posted in the chamber office window by 9:15 a.m.

The person who finds and returns the Christmas Medallion to the Chamber of Commerce office will receive $50 in Chamber Bucks.
