Waupaca girls fall at home
Comets lose to Luxemburg-Casco
Waupaca’s girls’ basketball team opened North Eastern Conference play Nov. 24 and came out on the short end of an 82-29 score in a matchup with Luxemburg-Casco.
The Spartans led 56-12 at halftime and outscored the Comets 26-17 in the second half.
Victoria Nowak led Waupaca with 22 points, while Cassie Schlitz led the Spartans with 22.
Waupaca traveled to Clintonville Dec. 1 and will head to Oconto Falls Tuesday, Dec. 8, for a 7:15 p.m. matchup with the Panthers.
