Sharing gifts of season
This year’s Weyauwega-Fremont Christmas Giving Tree provided gifts and food for 61 area families.
This angel bear is being given to an area child this Christmas.
The distribution took place on Saturday, Dec. 12, at Ss. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, in Weyauwega.
The ecumenical project involved First Presbyterian Church, Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church and St. Peter Lutheran Church.
Knight of Columbus Council No. 13702 organized it.
Families received clothing, toys and food.
The major donors included Helbach Farms, Ray Hutchinson, Del Monte Foods, Sturm’s, Tyson, Weymont Food Pantry, Ruby’s Pantry, Weyauwega-Fremont FFA, Presto Products, Marvin Metals, St. Vincent de Paul and First National Bank.
