Wega-Fremont boys win at home

Bosquez, Pankow combine for 50 points

Logan Bosquez and Dylan Pankow scored 25 points each, as Weyauwega-Fremont’s boys’ basketball team handed Manawa an 80-50 Central Wisconsin-8 Conference loss Dec. 18 in Weyauwega.

The lead changed hands six times in the first half, but W-F took a 37-26 lead into the locker room at halftime before outscoring the Wolves 43-24 in the second half.

Jacob Young also finished in double figures for the Indians with 12 points off the bench, while Brandon Radloff and Luke Wilz paced the Wolves with 23 and 14 points, respectively.

The Indians will head to Wautoma Monday, Dec. 21, for a 7:30 p.m. nonconference matchup with the Hornets, while the Wolves will host Tri-County at 7:30 p.m. the same day.
