Naomi L. Gunderson, age 75, of Waupaca, WI passed away on Monday, December 28, 2015 at Bethany Home.
She was born in Wausau, WI on July 30, 1940, a daughter of the late Benjamin and Merna (Doolittle) Burrows. Naomi married Charles Gunderson on June 15, 1963 in Wausau. He preceded her in death on June 29, 2008. She had worked as a bookkeeper at Waupaca Auto Supply. Naomi was a member of First Baptist Church in Waupaca. She had served as Treasurer for the Town of Lind for four years. Naomi also had been a member of the Variety Pack Homemakers for 35+ years.
Survivors include her sons, Mark (Heather) Gunderson, Waupaca, WI; John (Tara) Gunderson, Weyauwega, WI; grandchildren: Chelsea (Michael) Srnka, Mitchell, Justin, Joshua, and Bjorn Gunderson; sisters, Martha (Leon) Wilcosz, Mayville, WI, and Lucene (William) Udutulch, Mosinee, WI. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles and a brother, William.
Funeral Services will be held at First Baptist Church in Waupaca at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, January 5, 2016 with Reverend Joshua Haney officiating. Interment will be in the Lind Center Cemetery, Town Lind, Waupaca Co, WI. Visitation will be held on Monday, from 5 until 7 p.m. at the Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca and on Tuesday, from 12:00 (noon) until the time of the service at the church.
