Locals come out to get wrapped in snakes
The Fox Valley Herp Club visited New London Public Library on Monday, Jan. 11, to let kids and adults get hands-on with a bearded dragon, several mid-size snakes and a Burmese python.
Diane Moens, president of the Herp Club, brings her reptiles to New London’s Fall Family Fest each September. She said she came to the library with fewer animals, about 10, because she didn’t want them all to get cold on the car ride to New London.
