Warming center seeks volunteers
Foundations For Living needs volunteers to work nights at the warming shelter at 1421 Churchill St. in Waupaca.
Individuals and couples are needed to serve as overnight hosts at the center.
Overnight hosts help the guests check in, maintains an inventory of the guests’ belongings, serves food and snacks, makes sure that the building is secure and nobody leaves and re-enters the building after check-in.
The center is open from 8:30 p.m. to 7 a.m.
Training for the overnight hosts is scheduled from 8:05 p.m. until 9 p.m. Wednesdays, Jan. 20 and 27.
