Manawa falls to Shiocton

Chiefs dominate game

The Shiocton Chiefs chalked up another win, when they traveled to Manawa Friday, Jan. 29, to take on the Wolves, beating them 92-50.

The Chiefs dominated the first half of the game out-scoring the Wolves 60-28, sinking eight 3-point baskets.

Nathan Schmidt poured 19 of his game high 23 points for the Chiefs, while Brandon Radloff scored 9 for the Wolves during the first half.

During the second half of the game Shiocton once again out-scored Manawa 32-22 to seal the victory.

Schmidt led the scoring for Shiocton with 23 points, followed by Gage Kamp with 22 and Brandon Spencer with 17.

Radloff topped the scoring for Manawa with 14, followed by Jeven Sachtjen with 13 and Seth Forbes with 9.

Manawa will be back in action on Tuesday, Feb. 2, when they travel to Amherst to take on the Falcons.
