Iva J. Waterstradt, age 100, passed away on Sunday, February 7, 2016 at Pine Manor Nursing Home in Clintonville.
Iva was born on June 7, 1915 in Sheboygan, daughter of the late Herman and Myrtle (Stanton) Wickman. She attended school in Sheboygan. Iva was united in marriage to Albert Waterstradt on September 30, 1933. They resided in Sheboygan, until moving to New London in 1947.
Iva is survived by four daughters and seven sons: Dan (Ethel), Nancy Springstroh, Gary (Jackie), Barbara Sommers, Glen (Jennett), Sandy (Lee) Huebner, David, Steve (Sue), Teri (Dan) Giessen, Dennis and Peter (Kathy), as well as grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Iva was preceded in death by her husband; parents; sister, Ruth; sons-in-law, Rich Springstroh and Jim Sommers and daughter-in-law, Barb Waterstradt, as well as nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Funeral services for Iva will be held at 11:00 a.m. at Cline and Hanson Funeral Home in New London on Thursday, February 11, 2016. Rev. Greg Watling will be officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Floral Hill Cemetery in New London.
