Clarice Catherine Regan Foerster, age 88, of Richmond, Va., and formerly of Asheville and Tryon, N.C., died on Feb. 25, 2016.

Born on Feb. 18, 1928, she grew up on the southside of Chicago, Ill., daughter of Chicago Police Department 15th Precinct Detective Sgt. Timothy J. Regan and Sylvia Vesley Regan. She married Urban M. Foerster Jr. on June 25, 1949, at St. Dorothy’s Catholic Church in Chicago. After Urban’s death Sept. 5, 1994, she moved to Asheville, N.C., and then in 2015 to Richmond, Va.

She is survived by: son, Mark Regan Foerster (Kathryn) of Lynn, Mich.; son, Urban M. “Trey” Foerster III (Mary) of Iola, Wis.; and son, Kurt Timothy Foerster (Nancy) of Richmond, Va. There are six grandchildren including Regan Foerster (Jenna) of Kalkaska, Mich., formerly of Iola, and Cailin Foerster of Iola.
