Walter F. “Wally” Purchatzke, age 102 of New London, WI passed away on Tuesday, March 01, 2016 at St. Joseph Residence in New London.
Walter was born on August 5, 1913, the son of the late August and Clara (Neumann) Purchatzke in Weyauwega, WI. He married Pearl L. Roloff on January 18, 1946 in New London, WI. Walter retired from Ford Motor Company as an accountant. He was a member of Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church in Waupaca.
Walter is survived by his wife, Pearl Purchatzke of New London; special niece, Lorraine (Tony) Van Kampen of New London; son, Lloyd Purchatzke of Waupaca and many other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents and five sisters, Helen, Adeline, Mildred, Bernice and Margaret.
The family would like to thank all the staff members at Washington Center, Trinity Terrace, and St. Joseph Residence for all their care.
Memorial Service will be held at 4:00 pm on Thursday, March 10th at St. Joseph Residence Chapel in New London. Pastor Ronald Siemers is officiating. Visitation will be held from 3:00 pm until time of service at St. Joseph. Burial will be held at a later date at Oakwood Cemetery in Weyauwega.
