Carlson, Alan R. Jr.

Alan R. Carlson Jr., age 49, of Weyauwega, lost his very courageous battle with cancer and passed onto his Savior at his home on Saturday, March 19, 2016 surrounded by his family.

Alan was born to Frances and Alan R. Carlson Sr. on October 30, 1966. Alan resided most of his life in Fond du Lac, where he had many friends; he loved fishing and playing his guitar. He lived his life his way with no excuses and he died the same way on his term’s not cancer’s.

Alan will be deeply missed by his mother Frances and his loving stepfather Robert Fleenor of Evansville; daughter, Kayla West; sisters, Alane Carlson of Evansville, Arlene (Jeff) McGee of West Bend, Amy (Joel) Larsen of Weyauwega, Kristina Fleenor of Janesville, and Trish Smith of Traverse City MI; brothers, Anthony (Kim) Carlson of Evansville, Alex (Cindy) Carlson of Evansville, John (Laurie) Johnson of Wausau, Robert Fleenor (Sheila Lopetkiwicz) of Cudahy, and Brian (Carol) Fleenor of Cudahy. He will be further missed by his nieces and nephews: Glen, Angel, John, Ashley, Tasha, Cody, Cheyenne, Scott, Carrie, Andrew, Iesha, Hunter, Tea`, Valen, Raven, Aaron, Ashley L., Cassie, Riley, Nicholas “Neeko”, Liliana, Iyana, “Billy”, Adalynn, Dominic, Ja`Marion, Kaylee, Christopher, Josesph, Tyler, Ryan, Cooper, Cadence, Liberty, and Leighanna who will continue to always love him and miss him. He was preceded in death by his father, Alan R. Carlson Sr.; nephew, Jason R. Schulke; and niece, Chelsea Carlson.

At Alan’s request he will be cremated and no formal funeral services will be held, however, he requested that a “kick ass party” be held in his honor.

I’m alright. Cry for yourself if you must, not for me. I am good A-OK. Who loves ya baby? I will be waiting.

Laugh often, love with all your heart and soul, always be who you are.
