Kahl, David L.

David L. Kahl, age 71, of Clintonville passed away Tuesday evening, March 29, 2016 at his home in Elcho.

David Lee Kahl was born on July 10, 1944 in Clintonville to Norman and Edna (Musch) Kahl. David attended Clintonville schools and never let his disability stop him throughout his life. He worked for some time at Waupaca County Industries, Manawa, and for a while as a laborer at Creative Converting, Clintonville. His passion for many years was serving as an assistant manager with the Clintonville High School Trucker Football Program. David was a longtime member of Christus Lutheran Church, Clintonville. He enjoyed watching the local news on television, The Price is Right game show, and the Green Bay Packers. David was a gentle and kind person who always helped others whenever possible. For the past 20 years he had lived with Jerry and Kathy Schertz of Clintonville and about three years ago they moved up north to the Elcho – Post Lake area.

Survivors include two aunts, Viola Pasch of Clintonville and Lucille Musch of Shawano. There are five cousins, Margaret Richards of Oshkosh, Kathleen Bowman of Shawano, Jim (Ethel) Pasch of Appleton, Barb (Harold) Lundberg of Minneapolis, MN, and Greg (Darlene) Pasch of Oshkosh. He is further survived by his dear friends, Jerry and Kathy Schertz of Elcho, Raymond “Huntz” Nath of Elcho; and many other relatives and friends. David is preceded in death by his parents, an aunt, Betty Olson, and an uncle, Raymond Musch.

Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, April 3rd at 1:00 p.m. at the Beil-Didier Funeral Home, Clintonville. Rev. Brian Crocker will officiate and burial will follow at St. Rose Cemetery, Clintonville. Friends may call on Sunday from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home. Online condolences may be sent via www.beil-didier.com. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Christus Lutheran Church, Clintonville.
