Manske, Norman E.

Norman ManskeNorman Edward Manske, age 93, of New London, passed away on Wednesday, April 14, 2016 at his residence.

Norman was born on November 12, 1922 to the late Edward and Marie (Krueger) Manske in New London. He was united in marriage to Ann Olk, on August 17, 1946 in Hortonville. Norman graduated from Washington High School in 1940 and then went on to live and farm in the Town of Mukwa his entire life. He was an avid deer hunter and couldn’t resist a good western movie. Norm was a proud owner of a Model A Ford. His dog Rosco was his buddy, and Norman cherished time spent with his grandchildren.

Norman is survived by his son, Matthew (Kathy) Manske, New London; grandchildren, Amy (Jonathan) Eckelberg, DeForest and Jared Manske, New London; brother, Ed Manske, Appleton; sisters, Rae Marie (Elmer) Walters, Appleton and Lorraine Janiak, Ripon and sister-in-law, Edith Manske, New London. Norman was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Ann; one brother, Lawrence; sisters-in-law, Joyce Manske, Carol Kalchik, Julaine Manske, Ruth Menning and Nora Olk and brothers-in-law, Dan Janiak, Owen Olk, Don Menning and Art Kalchik.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, April, 18, 2016 at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church in New London. Fr. Robert Groher will be officiating. Visitation will be from 1-4 p.m. on Sunday, April 17, 2016 at Cline and Hanson Funeral Home in New London and again from 10 a.m. until the time of service on Monday at the church. Burial will be in Most Precious Blood Catholic Cemetery in New London. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established
