Kimberly “Kim” A. Grunwald, age 28, New London, died on Wednesday, May 4, 2016, the result of an automobile accident.
She was born on September 14, 1987 in New London. On July 28, 2013, Kim was united in marriage to Mark Grunwald. She was currently employed at Gilbert’s Sentry Foods, Hortonville. Kim loved animals, hunting, and fishing. She was a devoted mom to her eight-month old son, Tanner; her world revolved around taking care of him.
She is survived by her husband, Mark; son Tanner; father, Don Conat, New London; mother, Jane (Keith) Berkholtz, Shawano; sisters, Kelly (Zac) Dunbar and Krissy (Jerry) Samson; paternal grandmother, Corinne Conat; maternal grandmother, Myra Hanlon; niece, Meadow Grunwald and a nephew, Evan Dunbar. Kim is further survived by uncles, aunts, cousins, other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Gordon Conat and maternal grandfather, George Hanlon.
Funeral services for Kim will be held on Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Emanuel Lutheran Church, New London with Rev. William Heiges officiating. Visitation will be held at the Cline & Hanson Funeral Home, New London on Monday from 4-7 p.m. and also at the church on Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established for Tanner’s education.
