Severin, Alexander Philip

severinAlexander Philip (Fuzz) Severin passed away on May 14, 2016 at ThedaCare Hospital in Neenah, WI.

Alex was 22 years old and was born on August 6, 1993 at St Francis Hospital in Evanston IL. He was the second child of Jackilee M. (nee Hagen) and Edward J. Severin. Alex was a delightful child who lived in Glenview, IL and attended St. Catherine Laboure school. At the age of 14, Alex moved to Waupaca, WI, where he finished his schooling, and embarked on a series of jobs until he landed at the Wisconsin Veterans Home in King, WI. This perfect career joined two of Alex’s passions, our military veterans and history. Alex served as a CNA assisting the veterans that he loved so much. Alex had a wonderful spirit and personality and was known throughout his life as Fuzz. Alex had a great heart, an open mind and a curiosity of life that was infectious to anyone that was around him. Alex had great loyalty to his friends and family, it was one of his strongest attributes.

Alex is survived by his mother Jackilee (Pete), father Edward, brother Ryan (Devin), sister Sophia (Nick); uncles, Thomas, John and Michael; aunts, Jeanne, Mary; great-aunt Julie (Pat) Marilee and grandfather Philip Hagen and many family and friends Alex was proceeded in death by his three grandparents, Linda Hagen and William and Kathryn Severin.

In celebration of Alex’s life, family and friends will be gathering to honor the memory of Alex on May 22, 2016 in Waupaca, WI at 3:00 p.m. at the Chain O Lake Bar & Grill located at N2598 County Rd. QQ. In lieu of flowers donations are asked to be sent to the Wisconsin Veterans Home, N2665 County Rd QQ, King WI 54981
