Williams, Janet JJanet J. Williams, age 85 of Clintonville, passed away Thursday, May 19, 2016 at Aster Retirement Community, Clintonville, surrounded by family.

Janet Joy Williams was born October 29, 1930 in Bowler, the daughter of the late Bernard “Ben” and Emma (Erickson) Reinert. She attended school in Iola and graduated in 1949. A few years later, Janet was united in marriage to Floyd Williams on August 4, 1951 in Clintonville, and the couple continued to reside in Iola. After Floyd returned from military service, they bought a farm in the Township of Harrison, Waupaca County, where they had horses and raised beef cattle. They later moved to Northland and lived there for 10 years, and later found themselves living back in Iola. The couple separated, and Janet moved to Buena Park, CA in 1974, and later settled in Clintonville where she has lived since. Janet found her church home at Calvary Apostolic Church, Clintonville where she was a current member. She worked at the Wal-Mart in New London, and later retired after 12 years. Janet was an excellent baker and all-around cook, and will also be remembered for her love of horses and dogs.

Survivors include: daughters, Cheryl (Tom) Morey, Daphne, AL; Brenda (Jon) Bell, Bear Creek; sons: Rick (Tami) Williams, Clintonville; Randy Williams, Clintonville; Gary (Nancy Krog) Williams, Marion; grandchildren: Timothy Morey, Lisa (Ryan) Vanderford, Hannah (Mark) Junkins, Nathan Williams, James Wachter, J.D. Bell, and Cassie Bell; great-grandchildren: Rylee, Jacelyn, Wyatt, Braylon, and Waylon; brother, Robert (Marilyn) Reinert, Hayward and sister-in-law, Lou Reinert. Janet was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Caren in infancy; brothers, Ray and Gene Reinert, and Kenneth in infancy; and a sister-in-law, Marge Reinert.

A memorial service will be held 11a.m. Tuesday, May 24, 2016 at Calvary Apostolic Church, Clintonville with the Rev. Patrick Kloehn officiating. A private inurnment will take place at Union Cemetery, Tigerton. Friends may call at the church on Tuesday from 9 a.m. until the time of the service.
