Commencement exercises for the Iola-Scandinavia Class of 2016 were held Sunday, May 29, in the high school gymnasium.
The valedictorian was Ashley Fenn, daughter of Michael and Melissa Fenn, of Iola. Salutatorian was Kaylin Ellioff, daughter of James and Cheryl Ellioff, of Iola.
Iola-Scandinavia District Administrator David Dyb, whose oldest son graduated this year, delivered an emotional address at commencement.
The class motto is: “Together we have experienced life; separately we will pursue our dreams. Forever, our memories will remain.”
