Young contestants needed

Participants are needed for the annual Lil’ Strawberry Sally and Sam contest.

Co-sponsored by First State Bank and Sunny Day Child Care and Preschool, the costume contest in part of Waupaca’s Strawberry
Fest activities.

The contest begins at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 18, at the band shell in Rotary Riverview Park.

The contest is open to boys and girls ages 2 to 5 years old. Participants will be judged on the strawberry theme of their costumes, originality, and personality.

Prizes will be awarded to first- through third-place boys and girls, including a $50 U.S. Savings Bond for the 2015 Lil’ Strawberry Sally and Sam winners. All participants will receive a goodie bag.

Contest registration forms are available online at bankfirststate.com, at First State Bank, 101 County Trunk QQ, Waupaca, and at Sunny Day Childcare and Preschool, 1932 Godfrey Drive, Waupaca. The form can also be picked up at the Waupaca Chamber of Commerce office.
Registration forms should be returned by Thursday, June 16.
