Master Gardeners host garden walk

Local artists also featured in June 25 event

The Waupaca County Garden Walk and Art Stroll is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, June 25.

Sponsored by Waupaca County Master Gardeners, the event will feature tours of nine New London gardens where area artists will demonstrate their work.

Tickets cost $10 each and are available in advance at both Waupaca and New London Chamber of Commerce offices and in the gardens the day of the event.

Featured Gardens
• Kurth Garden, 1909 Mayflower Court, New London. Featured artists are Gail Clearwater-Shabby, rustic garden art, and Michael O’Connell, multi media.

• Morack Garden, 612 W. North Water St., New London. Artists are Silvia Gonzalez, jewelry, and Ruth Rex, multi media.

• Racine Garden, N3595 Bean City Road, New London. Artists are Dianne Vesser, multi media, and Mary Biesner, glasswork.

• Borden’s Hosta Haven, E9288 Crain Road, New London. Artists are Colleen Reed, tree charm, and Rob Zimmer, nature and garden books and photography.

• Herried’s Hobby Farm, N3355 County Trunk W, New London. Artists are Malcome Hathorne, willow and twig furniture, and Peggy Foote, Ukrainian egg decorating.

• Neuzil Garden, N3497 Bean City Road, New London. Artists Ashley Nigbor-Gordon, visual artist, andCheryl Mocadlo, acrylic.

• Wilderness Springs Trout Farm, N4923 Lang Drive, New London. Artists are Matt Philips, birdhouses and feeders, and Brigit Philips, weaving and placemats.

• Royalton Berry Farm, 4825 Stiebs Johnson Road, New London. Artists and Benita Jo Kulick, pottery, and Thomas Young, photography.

• New London Children’s Garden, Pfeifer Park, 509 Burton St., New London. Artists are Judi Neisen, watercolor, alcohol ink, acrylic, and Karen Martens, acrylic on decor.
