Lois J. Hess of Saxeville, age 63, passed away on Saturday, June 18, 2016 at her home with her family, after a hard fought battle with pancreatic cancer.
She was born in Clintonville on September 9, 1952 to Walter and Marie (Hohn) Krenke. On June 15, 1973 she married Vern Hess in Sante Fe, New Mexico. She was an active member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Waupaca. Lois worked for over 30 years at Presto Products in Weyauwega and then Appleton. She enjoyed cooking, baking, quilting, and camping with family and friends.
She will be dearly missed by her husband, Vern; daughters, Dawn and Jessica; grandchildren, Jacob and Lydia; mother, Marie Krenke; brothers and sisters: Carl (Gloria) Krenke, Margie (John) Kaplinski, Bernice (Michael) Rodencal, Bruce (Mary) Krenke; in-laws: Hallet (Alta) Hess, Darrel Hess and Janet Betz; aunts, uncles, other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Walter and grandson, Linus.
The Funeral Service will be on Friday, June 24, 2016 at 11 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Waupaca. Friends and family may call on Thursday from 4-8 p.m. at the Maple Crest Funeral Home of Waupaca and again on Friday at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be in Hilltop Cemetery in Saxeville. Any memorials will be donated to UW Madison University Hospital for Pancreatic Cancer research.
