Democrats host candidates forum
Event planned at New London’s Washington Center
The Waupaca County Democratic Party will host Meet the Candidates from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Saturday, July 16 ,at Washington Center, 600 W. Washington St., in New London.
Democratic candidates who will be at the event include Tom Nelson, Congress; Brian Smith, state Senate; Dmitri martin, state Assembly; Robert Forseth, district attorney; and Colleen McCoy, county clerk.
In addition, duly-elected delegates to the Democratic National Convention will speak for Bernie Sanders and Hillary Clinton.
Guests should use the entrance off Dickinson Street. A donation of $10 will be accepted at the door.
