Clintonville church hosts family event
The fifth annual FamFest will be held July 22-24 at Family of Christ Church in Clintonville.
FamFest is a free family friendly event with lots of activities geared for families, children and adults. The main event begins Saturday morning at 10 a.m.
Large inflatables will be available for kids, while several live bands are scheduled throughout the day with featured artist Matt Kolb at 7:30pm. A petting zoo and free horseback rides will be available from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Games and activities for kids will take place throughout the day. Bingo games will be scattered throughout the day. Free food will be available starting at 11 a.m. Free prizes, donated by local businesses and individuals, will be given out.
Friday night’s activities begin at 8 p.m. with a bonfire worship and an outdoor movie played on a large screen, which will begin at dusk.
Sunday’s events have nationally known Christian blue grass and country band Link Union performing at 10 a.m. during the regular worship service.
