Hutchinson House is looking for summer tour guides.

Located in South Park in Waupaca, the Hutchinson House is run by the Waupaca Historical Society and is open from 1-4 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays from Memorial Day through Labor Day.

Volunteer guides provide tours for visitors through the two-floor 1854 historic home.

The Hutchinson House showcases the Victorian era and displays many artifacts form Waupaca’s early settlers.

Guides present historic information on the Hutchinson House and family, along with notes on the many artifacts in the building.

People of all ages are welcome to volunteer, although students under age 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian when volunteering.

No experience is necessary, and training is provided for new volunteers.

Those who are interested may call the Waupaca Historical Society at 715-256-9980 or email [email protected].
