Two people were injured in a single-vehicle accident shortly before 6 p.m. Saturday north of Manawa.
The Waupaca county Sheriff’s Office reports that the driver of a southbound vehicle failed to negotiate the curve on State Highway 22/110 north of Riske Road, went into the west ditch and caused the vehicle to overturn.
The driver and passenger were transported to ThedaCare Medical Center-Waupaca for treatment.
The driver was later airlifted to ThedaCare Regional Medical Center in Neenah.
The crash remains under investigation. The Waupaca County Sheriff’s Office has not released the names of the driver and passenger.
