Carol A. Borchert, Waupaca, Wisconsin, age 70, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, September 23, 2016 at her home in Waupaca, WI.
She was born February 18, 1946 in McHenry, IL; daughter of Joseph and Evelyn (Kenowski) Loecher. On November 24, 1962, Carol married Herbert E. Borchert at St. James Catholic Church in Amherst. She enjoyed gardening and tending to her flower gardens. Carol was also a great cook and loved to share her meals with family. She was a devoted wife and a loving and caring mother who will be deeply missed by all of her loving family and many friends.
Carol is survived by: husband, Herbert Borchert of Waupaca, WI; sons: Joey Borchert of Plover, WI and Tod (Deborah) Borchert of Stevens Point, WI; grandson, Joshua Trzebiatowski of Mankato, MN; step-grandchildren: Kimberly Rogalski of Wabasha, MN and Casimer Phillip of Stevens Point, WI; step-great-grandchildren, seven; sisters: Sandy (Eddie) Karch of Rosholt, WI; Judi Marquard of Amherst, WI; Diane (Pat) Stuczynski of Amherst, WI and Patt (George Pliska) Loecher of Stevens Point, WI; brothers: Jim (Sally) Loecher of Waupaca, WI and Tim (Patti) Loecher of Kewaunee, WI; sisters-in-law, Irene (Harlyn) Schulke of Almond, WI and Beulah Heinz of Kaukauna, WI. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Evelyn Loecher; one son, John Lee Borchert; one sister, Ramona Zblewski; one brother, David Loecher; a sister-in-law, Lorraine Schulke; and two brothers-in-law, Harvey Schulke and Gene Heinz.
A Memorial Service will be on Thursday, September 29, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the Jungers-Holly Funeral Home of Amherst, WI. Father Amalraj Roche will officiate. A visitation will be held on Thursday from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. at the Jungers-Holly Funeral Home. Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery in Amherst following the service on Thursday. The Jungers-Holly Funeral Home of Amherst is assisting the family with arrangements.
