Krueger, Effie B.

krueger-effieEffie B. Krueger, Waupaca, Wisconsin, age 85, passed away on Thursday, October 13, 2016 at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center in Appleton, WI.

She was born April 22, 1931 in the Town of Fence, Florence Co., WI, daughter of the late George and Maude (Moore) Severson. On December 23, 1948, Effie married Allan F. Krueger in Manawa, WI and together they shared 59 years of marriage before his passing on June 11, 2008. She was a wonderful baker and was known for her famous chocolate chip cookies. Effie was loved by so many and will be deeply missed by all of her loving family and friends.

Effie is survived by: children: Micheal (Laurie) Krueger of Waupaca, WI; Marsha Ziebell of Waupaca, WI; Mark Krueger of Waupaca, WI; Linda (Dale) Matheson of Amherst, WI; special niece, Karen Jensen of Belton, SC; grandchildren: Heather Krueger of Waupaca, WI; Paul (Mary) Krueger of Wild Rose, WI; Joseph Krueger of Waupaca, WI; Samuel Ziebell of Manawa, WI; Jennifer Rohde of Waupaca, WI; Angie Lund of Weyauwega, WI; Andrew Krueger of Waupaca, WI; Bradley (Kara) Matheson of Appleton, WI; Stephanie (Sean) Broom of Minneapolis, MN; great-grandchildren: Julia and Anthony Krueger; Connor Rohde; Noah and Cali Krueger and Josh Moloney; Taelyn and Tucker Lund; Oliver Matheson; and Effie Ada Broom; brother-in-law, John (Donna) Krueger of Weyauwega, WI; God children: Sherry Krueger of Germantown, WI; Rita Sussenberger of Hooksett, NH and Martin Stenson of Oshkosh, WI. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Effie was preceded in death by her parents, George and Maude Severson; her husband, Allan Krueger; a daughter, Mary Ann Krueger; two brothers, Carl Severson and James Severson; and five sisters, Emma Buch, Ella Hall, Florence Rendall, Dolores Ray, and Edna Speer.

A Funeral Service will be on Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. at the Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca, WI. Father Amalraj Roche will officiate. A visitation will be held on Tuesday morning from 9:00 – 10:30 a.m. at the Holly Funeral Home. Burial will be at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Cemetery in Waupaca following the service on Tuesday. The Holly Funeral Home of Waupaca is assisting the family with arrangements
