Harold H. Falke Jr, age 75, of the Town of Lind, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, October 19, 2016.
He was born in Illinois on August 1, 1941 to the late Harold Sr. and Vivian (Ford) Falke. On October 10, 1959, he was united in marriage to Jeanne Peterson. He was a truck driver for his entire career, but found his true passion delivering fire trucks for Marion Body Works after his retirement. Harold enjoyed camping, watching the Packers, any type of racing, playing his guitar, and visiting friends while wintering in Arizona. His greatest pleasure, however, was time spent with his family.
He will be dearly missed by his wife, Jeanne; four children: Gary (Martina) Falke of Manawa, DeeDee (Bruce) Goode of West Bloomfield, Ryan (Becky) Falke of Weyauwega and Jim (Jenni) Falke of Fremont; grandchildren: Joe (Toni) Falke, Lissa Falke (fiancé Mike), Colie (Lance) Simonis, Amanda (Luke) Mitchell, Al Falke (fiancé Devery), Cesslie (Jordan) Klockzien, Haley Falke, Emilee Falke and Elle Falke. Harold is further survived by great-grandchildren: Maddy, Alex, Lydia and Jordan Falke; Landon and Braydon Simonis, Brevan Falke, Graysen Klockzien, Brayton and Windham Falke; a sister, Milly Kay (Clem) Ginocchio of IL, and a brother, Terance (Chris) Falke of FL; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by a sister and brother-in-law, Helen and Ernie Benavides and four sisters-in-law and their husbands: Arleta (Walter) Prill, Delores (Vernon) Loehrke, Joan (Velmer) Timm and Karen (Smokey) Kimmel.
The funeral service will be held Monday, October 24, 2016 at 11 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church of Waupaca, with Pastor Dione Miller officiating. Visitation will be held from 1 – 5 p.m. Sunday, October 23, 2016 at the Maple Crest Funeral Home of Waupaca and again from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at the church. Burial will take place at Lind Center Cemetery.
