Children who go trick-or-treating in Waupaca can pick up glow sticks from 5-7 p.m. Monday, Oct. 31.
The glow sticks will be distributed at the A. J Holly & Sons parking lot on corner of South Main and East Lake streets or at the Sunset Drive cul-de-sac near Swan Park.
“Dusk is one of the most difficult times to see due to decreased lighting, and anything that can help children be more visible to traffic is a huge benefit,” said Paul Piencikowski, with First Assembly of God.
The Children’s Ministries of First Assembly of God, Waupaca Police Department, Waupaca Fire Department and A. J. Holly & Sons Funeral Home are working together to distribute the free glow sticks.
