Allan Boutwell Jr., age 72, of Ogdensburg, WI passed away on Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at Wisconsin Veterans Home.
Allan was born in Waupaca, WI on July 6, 1944, the son of the late Allan and Beulah (Kensler) Boutwell Sr. He worked for many years at Lyon Metals in Aurora, IL building metal cabinets. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.
He is survived by his children: Laurie (Ken) Lamb, Wisconsin Rapids, WI; Scot (Michelle) Boutwell, Trego, WI; Tammy (Gary) Hanson, Wisconsin Rapids, WI and Alicia Boutwell, California; 13 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; his sister, Carol (Howard A.) Johnson, Ogdensburg, WI and his step-brother, George Schubert, Grand Forks, ND. Allan was preceded in death by his parents, a sister Darlene Quaintance and a sister-in-law, Arline Schubert.
The Memorial Service will be on Thursday, November 10 at 11 a.m. at the Wisconsin Veterans Home-Main Chapel, King with Chaplain Rich Engle, officiating. Military Graveside Services will follow in the Central WI Veterans Memorial Cemetery, King. Memorial visitation will be on Thursday morning from 10 a.m. until the time of services at the Main Chapel. Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca is assisting the family with arrangements.
