‘Big Bundle Up’ in Waupaca

Chamber collecting winter clothing

The Waupaca Area Chamber of Commerce is collecting new or gently used coats, sweaters, hats, mittens and other warm clothing as part of the “The Big Bundle Up” campaign.

Sponsored by the Wisconsin Department of Tourism, “The Big Bundle Up” is a statewide collection program running now through Jan. 7, 2017.

This is the sixth year of the program. To date, the program has collected more than 71,800 winter items statewide to help warm up families in need.

A box will be located in the Waupaca Area Chamber of Commerce, 221 S Main St., for donors to drop off warm clothing items from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.

All items donated at this location will be given to the Miracle Tree.
