Traffic
• Dec. 31 – A man was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 5:30 p.m. in the town of Waupaca.

Richard Osby, 67, of King, was driving eastbound on Appletree Lane near Orchard Way when he failed to negotiate a curve.

The vehicle entered the south ditch, traveled through the ditch and struck a utility power pole in the ditch. The vehicle came to rest on its tires facing northwest in the south ditch.

Osby was transported to the hospital for non-incapacitating injuries.
