The Clintonville Area Chamber of Commerce appointed Suzanne Wittman as its new executive director.

Wittman has a background in economic development, event planning, retail merchandising, marketing and procurement.

“We believe Suzanne will be an asset to our organization,” Chamber President Sara Mullen-Hornung said. “Her ability to connect people and businesses will benefit both the City of Clintonville and the surrounding communities.”

Wittman is a member of Appleton Downtown Inc.’s economic development committee where she is responsible for business recruitment and property tracking.

She is also chair for the Clintonville School District’s Reconsideration Committee.

As a consultant for the retail industry, she has worked with both corporate businesses as well as independent retailers throughout northeast Wisconsin.

Wittman has an associate’s degree in Fashion Merchandising from Lasalle College in Montreal, Canada, and a bachelor’s degree in retail merchandising and management with a minor in business administration from University of Wisconsin-Stout.

She and her husband have been living in Clintonville for almost 10 years with their three children.
