Donation helps cover summer camp
Knights of Columbus Council 3432 recently gave Boy Scout Troop 643 a $1,000 donation.
The troop is chartered by St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Community.
The donation will financially help some of the Scouts attend summer camp and the Scout National Jamboree at the Bechtel Reserve High Adventure Base in West Virginia in July.
It will also provide for some new camping equipment and for materials for merit badges and rank advancements.
