Kicherer, Julieanne

Julieanne M. Kicherer, age 66, of Fremont, passed away at her home on July 7, 2017.

She was born on January 14, 1951, the daughter of the late Frank and Ardis (Meyer) Servin. On June 24, 1972, she married James Kicherer at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Fremont. In her younger years, she was a cook at Servins Supper Club, her family’s establishment in Waupaca. Julie worked as a CNA at several nursing homes in the area and also cared for the elderly in their homes for several years. She had a passion for dogs and owned and operated Wolf River Kennels. There she bred, trained and sold puppies to families and police departments for over thirty years. Julie also loved horses, and enjoyed trail riding and participating in parades. She was a devoted Treatment Foster parent for 14 years. She loved cooking from scratch, using no measurements or recipes. Julie’s passions were going antique shopping, gardening, and making things such as lamps and crafts. She enjoyed vacationing in Branson, MO. Later in her life, she enjoyed watching her favorite shows, family gatherings and every holiday. Her world revolved around her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Julie had a goofy, fun-loving personality and was loved by all.

She is survived by her husband, James; two daughters, Lisa Collins, Hortonville and Kelly Kicherer, Appleton; and three sons, Jason (Gayla), Fremont; James Jr., Fremont and Kevin (Tiffany), Hortonville; 13 grandchildren: Breanna (Jon), Cody, Devin, Kevin (Kelsey), Kyle, Dylen, Logan, Jocelyn, Brynn, Lilliana, Analiese, Penelope, Olivette; five great-grandchildren: Isabella, Khaleesi, Braiden, Isaac and Kylie; two sisters, Sandra (Tom) Anderson, Appleton and Vicki Servin, Green Bay; one brother, Randall (Carol) Servin, Appleton; brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held on Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at 1 p.m. at the Lewin Funeral Home, Fremont. Pastor Alex Tychkin officiated. Visitation was held on Monday, July 10 at the funeral home, from 4-7 p.m.
