Crash victim airlifted
A man was injured in a crash on Granite Quarry Road at East Ware Road north of Waupaca.
Deputies were called to the scene shortly after 10 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 5.
They found a severely damaged vehicle that was approximately 150 feet off the roadway.
Waupaca firefighters extricated the driver, who was trapped inside the vehicle.
Paramedics treated the man for his injuries and transported him via ambulance to ThedaCare Medical Center in Waupaca.
He was later airlifted to ThedaCare Regional Medical Center in Neenah.
Names have not been released yet.
The crash is still under investigation.
