Waupaca County sheriff’s report Aug. 21

• Aug. 20 – Caller in New London reported eight to 10 people trying to start a fight.

• Aug. 20 – Caller in the E2900 block of Nelson Road, Waupaca, reported his mailbox was damaged the previous night.

• Aug. 20 – Caller in the 500 block of Division Street, Waupaca, would like to speak to an officer about a 14-year-old male who is threatening to put sugar in the caller’s mother’s gas tank.

• Aug. 20 – Caller in the 800 block of North Main Street, Marion, reported someone took her son’s trail camera and deer stand.

• Aug. 20 – Caller reported he was on the private forest lands, open for public recreation, near Clintonville, putting out bait for a bear, when a male approached him in a vehicle and screamed at the caller saying he was ruining his hunting and was going to demolish his bait.

• Aug. 20 – Caller in the 800 block of South Bridge Street, Manawa, reported a large snake in the garage that looked like an anaconda. The officer responded and discovered it was a radiator hose.

• Aug. 20 – Caller in the 500 block of Wisconsin Street, Waupaca, reported there is a male in the building who defecates outside of the bathroom. Today it is tracked down the front hallway.

• Aug. 19 – Caller reported a produce stand drive off in the N900 block of U.S Highway 45 in Clintonville, by a male in a green Ford Ranger.

• Aug. 19 – Caller reported a thin female, with blond hair in a ponytail floating in a yellow tube by the Indian Crossing Casino, in the E1100 block of County Trunk Q, Waupaca. She threw a drink at him while he was in his boat trying to sell ice cream. The boat driver had gotten some of the drink in his eyes.

• Aug. 18 – Caller reported the electrical outlets were smashed and torn off the walls at South Park, Waupaca.

• Aug. 18 – Caller in the E5300 block of U.S. Highway 10, Weyauwega, reported a runaway who has charged more than $100 to a debit card and child support card.

• Aug. 18 – Caller at ThedaCare Medical Center-Waupaca, reported a woman who left her 2-year-old child there. The female was there for depression and anxiety and stated she doesn’t want her child and wanted to end her own life.

• Aug. 18 – Caller in the E2100 block of Heavens Way, Waupaca, reported a contractor came to take down some trees, but did not remove the damaged ones.

• Aug. 18 – Caller in the 200 block of Lake Street, Scandinavia, reported a male with black shirt and black pants on the corner of her property who appeared to be text messaging.

• Aug. 18 – Caller in the 600 block of Oak Street, Waupaca, stated her window was smashed about 10 minutes ago and she did not see anyone or any projectile. She called back later and said it might have been a gas bomb or something.

• Aug. 18 – Caller in the 300 block of South Franklin Street, Waupaca, reported someone hit her mailbox last night and pieces of the headlight are on the scene.

• Aug. 17 – Caller in the N6900 block of County Trunk K, Ogdensburg, reported putting their boat up for sale on Craigslist and receiving a check for more than the asking price with the remainder to be paid to the person transporting the boat.

• Aug. 17 – Caller in the E1400 block of County Trunk Q, Scandinavia, reported some diesel fuel was stolen overnight.

• Aug. 17 – Caller in the N11400 block of Lunz Road, Clintonville, reported a 2002 Chevrolet 2500 pickup, blue with “O’Connor Auction Group” decals on the side is missing.

• Aug. 17 – Caller reported a black garbage can filled with animal parts at the intersection of Rural and Sanders roads, Waupaca.

• Aug. 16 – Caller in the N200 block of County Trunk U, Weyauwega, reported trespassing on his property and that the suspects damaged his ice shack.

• Aug. 16 – Caller in the 900 block of Honey Bear Lane, Waupaca, reported someone tried to open a credit card in his name.

• Aug. 16 – Caller in the N11700 block of Buckbee Road, Marion, reported someone set up a trail camera, deer stand and food for deer on 60 acres of property he manages for another party.

• Aug. 16 – Caller in the 100 block of Flora Way, Clintonville, reported she had checks stolen, closed her account, and received a letter from a collection agency saying a check for $61 had been written at Bear Creek Citgo.

• Aug. 15 – Caller in the E600 block of Frost Valley Road, Waupaca, reported there is an Enterprise rental truck in her driveway. There are two men and one of them is knocking on her door.

• Aug. 15 – Caller in the 500 block of North Main Street, Scandinavia, reported silver coins have been stolen.

• Aug. 15 -Caller at the Waupaca Country Club, in the 1300 block of Ware Street, Waupaca, reported a man in a maroon car drove onto the course and then the cart path. The caller confronted the man who said he was looking at the river and he used to be a member. The man then sped off.

• Aug. 15 – Caller in the E1600 block of Rural Road, Waupaca, reported his house was egged, his car saran wrapped, his yard sporked and his trees toilet papered. This is the third time this has happened.
