Markie Ash shoots lowest round

It wasn’t her best round of the season, but it was still good enough for Waupaca’s Markie Ash to earn medalist honors at her latest North Eastern Conference girls’ golf match.
Ash carded a 48 and the Comets outshot Luxemburg-Casco and Wrightstown Sept. 5 at Luxemburg’s Northbrook Country Club.
Waupaca finished with a score of 204, while Luxemburg-Casco and Wrightstown turned in rounds of 216 and 232, respectively.
Lylli Sondrol shot a 51 for Waupaca, followed by Cadie Ash (52), Alana Radley (53) and Sydney Behm (58).
