Iola-Scandinavia’s football team rebounded from its first loss of the season with a convincing win on the road.
The Thunderbirds handed Manawa a 49-0 Central Wisconsin Large Conference loss Sept. 15 on the Wolves’ home field.
I-S outgained Manawa 441-92 on the ground. Bryce Huettner led the way with 27 carries for 202 yards and three touchdowns.
Mason Wiesner led Manawa with 52 yards on 11 carries.
Both teams will hit the road Friday, Sept. 22, for CWC-Large games. The T-Birds will face Pacelli in Stevens Point, while the Wolves will travel to Amherst.
