Cummings (Friday), Cori S.

Cori Susan (Friday) Cummings, age 32, of Manawa, beloved daughter, mother, sister, granddaughter, niece, aunt and friend was taken from us tragically and suddenly on Tuesday, October 24, 2017.

She was born on December 30, 1984 in New London, daughter of Rick Friday and Linda (Diem) Friday. Cori grew up in rural Manawa, along with her 2 brothers Tony and Shane. She graduated in 2003 from Manawa High School. Following graduation, Cori decided to become a CNA. Cori’s real passion was to become an accountant. She was a single mom of Casey and David doing her best and then married John Cummings in 2011 and they were blessed with Joe. She loved being a wife and mother to her three boys and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Cori loved being on the pontoon and being in the sun! She was a kind, gentle and caring person, who enjoyed going to church with her mom and boys. Cori always embraced what life dealt her.

Cori is survived by her children: Casey, David and Joe; mother, Linda; father, Rick (Jeanette) Friday; brothers, Tony Lee (Jess) Friday and Shane Randall (Hailey) Friday; “sister”, Jaael; step-children, Jamie and Jonnie Cummings; nieces, Kyla, Kayden, Kelcee and Inza; grandson, “Michelin”, Christopher John; great-aunt, Rita Hohn and best friend forever, Kari and friends, Tristen, Zach and Amy.
