Kruzicki, Dennis A.

Dennis Allen Kruzicki, 64 of Bear Creek, WI died peacefully at ThedaCare-Appleton on Friday, November 10, 2017, following a 20 year battle with several forms of cancer.

Dennis was born on March 9, 1953 in New London, WI, the son of Nicholas and Helena (Hooyman) Kruzicki. He graduated from Clintonville High School in 1971. On August 2, 2008, Dennis married Jo Ellen “Josie” Brumm on the Embarrass River. Throughout the years Dennis worked at Horky’s Store in Clintonville, Wisconsin Power Company, Schutts Industries and as the owner and operator of several taverns and tile construction companies throughout the area. Most recently he owned and operated Kruzicki’s Kemo Kritters, an alpaca farm. Dennis had a zest for life and enjoyed hunting, fishing, his alpacas, gardening and canning. To those who received a pint jar of his therapeutic salsa, he was known as the “Salsa King.”

Dennis is survived by his wife, Josie; parents, Nicholas and Helena; children, Diana Kruzicki (Jody Rolf), Tracy Kruzicki, Derek (Cora) Kruzicki, Jesse Kruzicki, Brent (Heather) Gall and Kelly Kendall; grandchildren, Reagan, Seth, Davis, Oliver, Parker and Lyncoln. He is further survived by his siblings, Nancy (Richard) Immel and David (Doreen) Kruzicki; father and mother in-law, Lyle and Dawn Brumm; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, friends, and his alpaca kids. Dennis is preceded in death by Rumer Thomas and Sally Kruzicki.

The memorial service for Dennis will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 17, 2017 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Bear Creek, with Rev. Aric Fenske officiating. Family and friends are invited to gather at Cline & Hanson Funeral Home, New London, Thursday evening from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and directly at church Friday morning from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.

The family would like to thank Dr. William Conkright and the staff at Fox Valley Hematology and Oncology as well as the 7th Floor nurses at ThedaCare-Appleton for the incredible, tender care shown Dennis throughout his illness.
