Warming center open

Overnight shelter available

The Foundations For Living (FFL) Warming Center is open.

It opened Nov. 1 and will remain open for this season until April 30.

Located at 1421 Churchill St., the center is for those age 18 and older who find themselves in need of overnight emergency shelter from the elements.

It is the only center in Waupaca County open for people in this area.

The warming center opens its doors at 8 p.m. each day.

Check-in is from 8-10 p.m., with check-out from 6:30-7 a.m. the next day.

The center is supported by volunteers from Waupaca and surrounding communities.

Those wishing to be part of the solution to long-term or short-term homelessness may contact FFL at 715-942-2725. There are many ways to assist.
