Arnlund, Alexander Edward

Alexander Edward Arnlund peacefully passed away at home on Friday, November 24, 2017 in Dayton, Wisconsin.

Alex was born in Missoula, Montana on March 31, 1995 to Becky Drechsler and Troy Arnlund. Alex was the epitome of strength in every way. In his lifetime he endured tremendous challenge, and yet always managed to show love and appreciation to those around him. He had a zeal for life that defied the difficulty of his circumstance and a strength of faith that carried him throughout his 22 years. Alex defied the odds and blessed all those who were fortunate enough to be a part of his life. His quiet resilience and loving heart were the comfort that brought healing to the entire family in the aftermath of his sister’s tragic passing. His absence is going to leave a massive hole in the lives of many.

Alex is preceded in death by his beloved little sister Kameron Arnlund and many grandparents. He is survived by his mother Becky Drechsler and stepdad Mike Drechsler, his father Troy Arnlund, his sister Kelsey Olson, his nephew Kaleb Polly, his paternal grandparents, Judie and Jerry Melum and Bert and Kari Arnlund, his maternal grandparents, Gary and Cherie Stevens, great-grandmothers, Beulah Rogers and Doris Stevens. Alex is further survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

The family is eternally grateful for the many dedicated nurses, aids, doctors and helpers who have touched Alex’s life over the years. Your dedication to loving and caring for Alex was a tremendous gift to him and to our family. Please receive our very heartfelt thanks!

There will be a private memorial service for family, close family friends and those that played an important role in Alex’s life in the springtime. A memorial fund has been established in Alex’s name through Radiant Fellowship Church, contributions can be made through: radiantfellowship.net/alex/
