Waupaca County sheriff’s report Dec. 11

• Dec. 10 – Caller from the E4700 block of Den Ed Road, Weyauwega, reported a man and woman fighting in the parking lot of the apartment building. No weapons were reported, but the woman allegedly hit the man about 10 times.

• Dec. 10 – Caller from the E1200 block of County Trunk V, Scandinavia, reported an ongoing problem with the neighbor’s barking dogs.

• Dec. 10 – Caller from the N6600 block of Smith Road, Scandinavia, reported his parents were in a physical fight.

• Dec. 10 – Citgo Travel Plaza, Lakeshore Drive, Weyauwega, reported an intoxicated male driver in the parking lot.

• Dec. 10 – New London man called and reported he received a text message from a 53-year-old man who had a gun and planned to kill himself.

• Dec. 9 – Caller on the N6800 block of Gerhardt Lane, Manawa, reported seeing an older Lincoln or Ford passenger car at the end of their cul-de-sac the previous night. That morning, he saw footprints coming up their driveway and going to their daughter’s window.

• Dec. 9 – Caller on the E6800 block of Huntley Road, New London, reported a Great Dane fell into the middle of a pond.

• Dec. 9 – Caller from the 100 block of Division Street, Iola, reported someone stole her purse.

• Dec. 9 – A New London caller reported finding a 41-year-old woman who hanged herself in the garage.

• Dec. 8 – A Manawa man reported his teenage daughter attempted suicide.

• Dec. 8 – Caller from State Highway 54 near Madden Road west of New London reported a white Chevy Malibu had been tailgating him, so he slowed down so the other driver could pass. The Malibu passed, then its driver slammed the brakes and stopped in the middle of the road. The two cars pulled over and the Malibu driver allegedly cwent after the caller with a bat.

• Dec. 8 – Comfort Suites, Foxfire Drive, reported a man and a woman spent two nights at the hotel, then left without paying their bill. The room smelled as if they had been smoking marijuana in it.

• Dec. 8 – Staff at the Waupaca Area Public Library reported finding a credit card.

• Dec. 8 – Caller from the 100 block of North Main Street, Waupaca. reported losing a black and pink wallet with a bank card and driver’s license in it.

• Dec. 8 – Caller reported she had been shopping at Dollar General in Waupaca and when she returned to her car, her dog was missing. A clerk at Goodwill, which shares the same parking lot, reported someone came into the store, said a dog was running around outside and they were taking it home.

• Dec 8 – Caller from E100 block of Hudziak Road, Waupaca, reported her Apple account had been hacked. When she called a tech support number she found online, she was told she needed to send two $50 iTunes gift cards to restore her account.

• Dec. 8 – New London woman reported she received a Snapchat message from a 20-year-old friend who said he knows where to get a gun and she does not need to stress about him. She believed he may harm himself.

• Dec. 7 – Caller reported a 61-year-old Waupaca man with cancer was suspected of being suicidal following surgery.

• Dec. 7 – Caller reported a 41-year-old Fremont man texted messages he was going to bed and not getting up. When the caller texted the man and asked what was happening, the man responded he took depression meds and vodka.

• Dec. 7 – A woman on the 200 block of Oman Street, Waupaca, reported her 10-year-old son had run away.

• Dec. 7 – The Churchill Street Station in Waupaca reported a runaway boy was at the store and his mother was en route to pick him up.

• Dec. 7 – Caller from 300 block of South Bridge Street, Manawa, reported a woman picked up his van after his son was arrested, then failed to return it.

• Dec. 6 – Caller from the 1000 block of Riverside Drive, Waupaca, reported her purse was stolen.

• Dec. 6 – Caller from the N4800 block of County Trunk B, New London, reported he has received two letters from an attorney in Virginia regarding a Verizon bill with two different accounts. He believes his personal information has been stolen and used to set up these accounts.

• Dec. 6 – Manawa caller reported her 16-year-old daughter wants to harm herself and was dozing in and out and needed an ambulance.

• Dec. 6 – Caller from the Wisconsin Veterans Home at King reported $31 had been stolen from his wallet while he was in the hospital.

• Dec. 5 – Caller from the 1300 block of Lawrence Street, New London, reported someone rifled through his car and some items were missing.

• Dec. 5 – Kwik Trip on West Fulton Street in Waupaca reported a $20 gas drive off.

• Dec. 5 – Kwik Trip on County Trunk QQ in Waupaca reported a $26 gas drive off. It was the same minivan as reported at the downtown store earlier that day.

• Dec. 5 – The Probation and Parole Office, Churchill Street, Waupaca, requested an officer to take a man to jail who had been drinking.

• Dec. 5 – Caller from the 700 block of Royalton Street, Waupaca, reported finding a window screen popped out and the door to her breezeway open when she returned home.

• Dec. 4 – Matthews Tire, Union Street, Waupaca, reported a customer forgot to put his car in park and it rolled across the street, hitting some other cars in the city parking lot.

• Dec. 4 – Caller from the N5700 block of Waupaca Road, Ogdensburg, went to the sheriff’s office to report his wallet had been stolen from his vehicle.
