Lock out in Manawa

Police investigating threat

The Manawa School District is currently in lock out due to the investigation of a threat at the high school.

The Little Wolf Jr./Sr. High School administrators and Manawa police are currently investigating a threat at the high school.

Skylert was used to communicate the lock out to public and private school parents, staff, STEP volunteers and others on the district’s contact list.

The high school will not have students passing between classes or leaving the classroom until further direction from Dan Wolfgram, the high school principal.

Manawa Elementary School staff and students will remain indoors until the all-clear is given from the administration. The school will conduct classes as usual.

A threatening message scrawled on a bathroom wall in the high school resulted in a lock out on Dec. 11, 2017.
