McFaul, Phyllis Mae (Dent)

Phyllis Mae (Dent) McFaul, age 90, of Ripon, WI, (formerly of Eagle River, WI) passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 28, 2018, at Wolverton Glen Assisted Living.

Phyllis was born on December 4, 1927 in New London, WI to Lloyd and Rose (Hoffman) Dent. Her father worked in the logging industry, so the family moved multiple times to Michigan and to various places in Wisconsin. They moved back to New London, WI, where she met and married the love of her life, Lee McFaul in June of 1945. They were blessed with 57 years of marriage and six children. They moved to Eagle River, WI in August of 1955. Phyllis worked for the local drugstore as it changed hands over the years from Mulrooney’s to Woody’s to Wall Street Pharmacy. She retired from there in 1998. Family was very important to Phyllis and she was always there to support them. Her love of reading was passed on to all of her children. Phyllis was a great cook and loved to bake. All of the children and grandchildren fondly remember the back room where all the baked goods were kept at Christmas time. She was very creative and quite handy. Phyllis enjoyed working crossword puzzles and jigsaw puzzles. Phyllis and Lee also enjoyed dancing. We all hope they are dancing in heaven.

Phyllis is survived by her children, Sharon (Doug) Breit of Eagle River, Mike McFaul of Phelps, Lynne McFaul of Eagle River, Chris (Matt) George of Ripon, Terry (Stephanie Mikesell) McFaul of Madison; sister, Beverly Beyer; brother, Gary Dent; grandchildren, Terry Lee, Candice, Molly, Dawn, Eric, Heidi, Tammy, Brenda, Dan, Becky, Melissa, Andy and Matt; great-grandchildren, Ewan, Galen, Sean, Kathyrn, Rondae, Arnold, Kymberlee, Megan, Josie, Abbygail, Nick, Ashley, Danika, Javyn, Amelia, Isaiah, Azariah; great-great-grandchildren, Todd and Ricky.
