New voting booths in Waupaca

Booths will be available for Feb. 20 primary

Voters in the city of Waupaca will see new polling booths when they vote on Tuesday, Feb. 20.

The city acquired a dozen gently used poll booths to replace its old ones.

The new booths are lighter and smaller, making them easier to move and store.

Voters will have the option to use these new poll booths for completing their paper ballots, or they may use one of the city’s electronic voting machines.

There is a primary election on Feb. 20.

The one race on the ballot is to fill a vacancy on the Wisconsin Supreme Court.

The city’s polls are located at the Waupaca Recreation Center, 407 School St.

The polls are open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. that day.

Those who need to register may do so at the city clerk’s office.

It is open from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday inside City Hall, 111 S. Main St.
