Rosin, William “Bill” E. Sr.

William “Bill” E. Rosin Sr. of Ogdensburg, age 79, passed away on Sunday, February 25, 2018 at Thedacare Waupaca.

He was born in the Town of Lanark, Portage County on March 1, 1938 to the late William and Ann (Lawrence) Rosin. On June 1, 1963 he married Pauline Beach. Bill was a veteran, serving in the Navy. He was an electrician and farmer. Bill was on the Ogdensburg/ Town of St. Lawrence Fire Department and Fire Chief for many years, as well as a First Responder. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, and was an avid softball player in the Navy and for Waupaca Leagues. First and foremost to him was spending time with his family.

He will be sadly missed by his wife, Pauline; sons: William Rosin Jr., Robert (Gloria) Rosin, Randal (Jennifer) Rosin; grandchildren: Trevor (Desiree) Rosin, Rodger and Darlene Oxford, Emily, Miriah and Bryce Rosin, Peyton, Kennedy, Kelsey, Briley and Brody Rosin; great-grandchildren, Eliza and Mason Rosin; brothers: Carl (Chris) Rosin, Roger (Carol) Rosin, Harlen (Terri) Rosin; sister, Shirley (Lee) Jackson; brother-in-law, Ronald (Kris) Beach ; sister-in-law, Rayline Piotter; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers and sisters, Lawrence Rosin, Ramona Rosin, Joyce Nelson, Ginger Clavette, Lorraine Jelinski, Gilbert Rosin and a grandson, Bradyn Rosin.

A private family service will be held at a later date. Burial will be in the Central Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery. The Maple Crest Funeral Home of Waupaca is assisting the family with arrangements.
