Rodger C. Kloehn, age 69, Green Bay, formerly of New London, passed away on Saturday, March 3, 2018 from an automobile accident.
He was born on February 6, 1949 in New London to the late Clarence and Geraldine (Knapp) Kloehn. He graduated from New London High School in 1967. Rodger served his country in the US Navy from 1967-1971. On August 10, 1974, he was united in marriage to Beverly J. Spreeman, in New London. The Lord blessed their marriage with three children. Roger worked at Hillshire Farm of New London, Thilmany Pulp and Paper in Kaukauna, as well as driving truck professionally until his retirement in 2010.
Rodger is survived by his daughter, Heidi; sons, Peter and James; brothers, David, John and Bruce; sisters, LaVonne (Kelly) Becker, Barb Meyer, and Ann Wege. He is further survived by grandchildren, Taylor, Lena, and Opal; and also nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services for Rodger will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 8, 2018 at Cline & Hanson Funeral Home in New London. Rev. Greg Watling will be officiating. Visitation will take place from 9-11 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in the St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery, Town of Caledonia. www.clinehansonfuneralhome.com
